Offsite Wood firing at Rose's amazing kiln in Westport MA -limited to 10 people! Info night 8/28 Mudstone Studios Warren RI Wood firing is an ancient firing technique dating back thousands of years. In this 6-class intensive you will learn the basics of firing a kiln using only wood as your fuel source. The kiln leaves its mark on the work in unique ways. Rose Esson-Dawson will provide the glazes, wood and kiln for this creative process. All pieces MUST be made from a cone 10 clay body as we will take this kiln to 2350-degrees.
