Beginner Wheel Throwing 3/6 - 4/10

Service Description

In this class, students will get their hands muddy while learning the foundations of throwing pottery on the wheel, with the goal of finishing 4–6 one-of-a-kind pieces by the end of the session. We’ll spin up bowls, mugs, and vases while building strong fundamentals through classic forms like cylinders. Along the way, students will learn how to transform their pieces through trimming, altering, and adding handles—including pulling and extruding handles for extra personality. As the session winds down, we’ll dive into surface design with playful techniques like sgraffito, then bring everything to life with glaze application and finishing touches.
