Wheel Throwing:Mastering fundamentals

Service Description

Shore up the most important throwing skills in this fast paced, six week deep dive. Lessons will focus on Centering quickly, Pulling efficiently, and Shaping confidently. The first three weeks will each revolve around a different throwing fundamental; Cylinders, Bowls, and Plates. In the second half of the class, students will design and create one of each item in a 4 piece Dinner Set. Familiarity with throwing basics is highly recommended. Students can expect to create 4 to 8 finished pieces by the end of the class.
