[Adults] “Surface Decoration Workshop”
Instructors: Jeanne Loewenstein and Ellen Blomgren
Learn many different surface decoration techniques starting with wet work using
slips and stains then on to glaze application techniques using a wide variety of glazes.
Learn about resists, layering, transferring and much more. All techniques will be fired
in an electric kiln at cone 04. Feel free to bring some of your own green-ware and
bisqe-ware to experiment with along with what you'll make here in class.
Saturdays August 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th from 1-4:pm

[Adults] “Pit Fire Workshop”
Guest artist Jason Fong
Learn to burnish you work, including how to make and use terra siggilatta,
a fine clay slip. Prepare wares for firing and what materials work best for
each effect. Bring your own greenware and make some during the workshop.
This class will take place on Saturdays in October, dates to be announced soon.
