[Adults] “Tuesday Wheel-throwing -12 week
for beginners w/ David Harrington”
Tuesdays 10 - 1pm
This 12 week class covers clay preparation, centering,
cylinders, trimming and glazing. During the extra four weeks,
students will be exploring the forms they made in the first
eight weeks with more intensive focus. In addition, there will
be an opportunity to explore glaze chemistry. David's work can

Tuition: $340 plus $100 for materials + studio fee
[KIDS] “Fall Clay for Kids
Instructor, Ellen Blomgren”
Students will learn several different hand-building techniques
during this 6-week class. We'll be making our own stamps from
clay for texture and using them for two of the projects. We'll
be making slab-Victorian style houses along with all the trimmings.
We'll make pinch pot animals, focusing on gesture and personality.
Using press molds, kids will roll coils into the forms to create
lacy ornaments. Stoneware slab cups with lots of texture will be
on our list of things to do as well.
Session 1: Tuesdays, November 2 - December 14, 4-6:pm
Session 2: Sundays November 7-December 19, 10:am-noon
Open to students grades 3-6. $125 includes materials.
