Learn a bit about glaze chemistry as well as glaze application techniques in this intensely informative class. Wayne will guide students in making test tiles, testing glazes and combinations as well as layering and resist effects. Results will enhance and give a unique quality to your work.

How to Create a Bust
with Ellen Blomgren
Using the wheel, a slab roller and some hand-building techniques, Ellen will show you first how to create the structure to build from and then some refining techniques. Students can expect to complete one sculpted bust about 12"-14" tall. Bring pictures of your subject!
